Ever get intimidated by a big slab of pork belly at the supermarket? NO MAS! This simple air fryer recipe works for so many reasons. No cutting, or slicing necessary. No elaborate and crazy marinades. Take your whole slab of pig, season simply with salt and pepper, and throw it in your air fryer for 25-35 min on high, until super crispy and rendered! Let the pork sing. Serve with lettuce wraps and your assortment of pickled veg, kimchi or heat up some rice, fry and egg and call it a day!

Crispy Pork Belly


1 ½ lb pork belly with fat cap

Salt and Pepper


We love using our @tidylife Air fryer to help make this dinner staple in under an hour from start to finish. Just make sure to thoroughly dry your pork and season generously with salt and pepper up to an hour before placing in the fryer. Most times I do a dry rub of just salt to remove the excess moisture from the protein and let it cool uncovered on a drying rack in my fridge. Remember that we always want to let the meat come to room temperature before cooking. I love to slice up some fresh veggies and make little wraps with pickled veggies, some steamed egg, rice or all three :) Dollop of gojuchang helps bring it all together.
